Rapport Honored For AI Features & Innovation: Best Real-Time Engagement for AI Category In the 30th Annual Webby Awards

Edinburgh, Scotland, UK — March 31, 2026 – Rapport announced today that it has been honored for AI Features & Innovation: Best Real-Time Engagement for AI in the 30th Annual Webby Awards (opens in new tab). Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (opens in new tab) (IADAS), is the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet.

IADAS, which nominates and selects The Webby Award Winners, is comprised of Internet industry experts including Joanne Jang (General Manager, OpenAI Labs), Tekedra Mawakana (Co-Chief Executive Officer, Waymo), Walton Goggins (Actor and Filmmaker), Kim Larson (Global Managing Director & Head of Creators, YouTube), Bob Carrigan (CEO, Audible), Kinney Edwards (Global Head of Creative Lab, TikTok), Manuel “Manolo” Arroyo (EVP & Global Chief Marketing Officer, The Coca-Cola Company), Alex Schultz (VP Analytics & Chief Marketing Officer, Meta), Tiffany Rolfe (Chair & Global Chief Creative Officer, R/GA), Todd Kaplan (Chief Marketing Officer, Kraft Heinz), Paris Hilton (Creator), Garry Tan (President & Chief Executive Officer, Y Combinator), Tyler Bahl (Chief Marketing Officer, Activision), and Paula Kerger (President & CEO, PBS).

Rapport was recognized for bringing real-time, two-way interaction to AI—moving beyond scripted or pre-rendered experiences to live conversation. The platform combines expressive digital avatars with real-time responsiveness, enabling interactions that feel closer to real life.

Powered by Speech Graphics (opens in new tab)’ award-winning facial and full-body animation technology—used in video games such as Call of Duty, The Last of Us Part II, and Hogwarts Legacy—Rapport delivers a level of realism not typically seen in AI avatar platforms.

With built-in feedback and performance data, Rapport helps organizations understand how people perform in real conversations—not just whether training was completed.

“Honorees like Rapport are redefining what’s possible on the Internet, pushing creativity and innovation forward in bold and unexpected ways,” said Nick Borenstein, General Manager of The Webby Awards. “As we celebrate the 30th Annual Webby Awards, being recognized as an Honoree from nearly 13,000 entries is an incredible achievement and a true testament to the impact of their work.”

“Real engagement doesn’t come from scripted content—it comes from interaction. We’ve spent years researching and perfecting how digital characters move and express themselves in real time. Bringing that into conversational AI delivers a new kind of experience—one that feels human and actually helps people improve,” said Gregor Hofer, CEO and Co-founder of Rapport. “Being recognized by the Webby Awards reinforces that this shift toward more responsive, real-time AI is where the industry is heading.”
